Try to avoid placing the house alarm transmitters and recievers on metal or UPVC windows as this can interrupt the signals being sent or recieved.

For Wireless house alarms do not alter the aerial or replace with ones that are not approved or recommended by the manufacturer. This may be a cheaper option but it could impact the house alarms performance.
